Crossfire Expands into the Electricity Industry!
Well, the good news keeps coming for Crossfire, that’s for sure! Late September we received word that we would be increasing our calling efforts to now include electricity in the Midwest!
A little history lesson here: back in the late 1990’s we were the first
company to begin calling campaigns for the deregulation of utilities and we
were quite successful at it—as a matter of fact, we are so successful, that
we currently enroll over 2,000 new customers each week for our natural gas
client.!
The expansion into electricity allows Crossfire to increase its visibility in the deregulation of utilities industry and offer homeowners and small commercial customers a lower rate on their electricity usage for a set period of time!
A little background on deregulation—it means that the historical monopolies granted to a few large utilities providing electricity, telephone and natural gas are eliminated. These companies will just operate the distribution systems, the wires and the pipes. Competitors then enter the market with different pricing and service offerings. With the onset of deregulation in all of these industries, it is possible for consumers to realize significant savings by shopping around for these commodities.
Keep in mind that deregulation only works when customers participate as this causes the suppliers to compete for your business and that, my friends, results in lower rates for all of us!
